With great dedication and high competence, he captivates the students' interest through his lectures. As a teacher, he does his utmost to understand the students' perspectives, which results in students never hesitating to ask a question. With a good understanding of the student's knowledge level, he can always assist in the best way possible, both during and outside class hours. If a student finds something particularly interesting, they can always turn to him for further discussion, having their thoughts heard and appreciated. Even with criticism, one can always approach him, knowing that he will take it seriously and immediately try to improve the problem. With all of this, he makes his students always feel valued. Teknologkåren thanks Johan Linton for his efforts and congratulates him on this recognition from the students.
Best teacher 2019Magnus Stenberg oversees four out of the eight courses that are mandatory to take during the fourth and fifth years of Technical Design with a focus on Production Design. Additionally, he serves as a mentor to as many students as possible during the thesis period. This means that Magnus is the one who keeps TD - Production Design alive, and without his dedication and contributions, the specialization would not have survived. Magnus combines solid pedagogical knowledge with high experience and routine. His enthusiasm is contagious and motivates students to excel in his courses. Magnus always takes the time to help and guide. His door is always open, and he willingly shares his extensive knowledge of production. I have personally visited Magnus's office numerous times with various questions, and I have never been told that he doesn't have time (even though he has had a lot to do). On the contrary, he has always taken the time to understand what I needed help with. All four courses that Magnus is responsible for have strong connections to industry. Magnus takes care to find suitable companies and ensures that we get to visit them for one or more study visits. He has, among other things, driven us around to Kalix, Jokkmokk, and Storsund (a tiny town 90 kilometers from Luleå). Magnus works hard to maintain a high educational quality with close ties to the industry. Most of Magnus's courses are structured as group project work with a strong focus on supervision, which means that the format is similar to a thesis but carried out in a group. This not only prepares students well for the upcoming thesis but also fosters independence among students, as the group is expected to drive the work forward between supervision sessions. Magnus maintains a similar structure for his courses but clearly increases the requirements for students with each completed course. He has high standards for quality and development, which constantly challenge and push students to grow. I believe that many of us feel immense gratitude to Magnus for being a significant reason why our last two years in Technical Design turned out as well as they did

Above all, Erik possesses the ability to inspire students to develop an interest in physics – an interest that grows with each lecture. Erik teaches with both humor and joy. The dedication and interest Erik brings to his teaching lead to a deep and solid understanding. As the examiner, Erik goes beyond the typical teacher's effort in rounding off the course. The meticulous work on comprehensive solutions for exams demonstrates Erik's awareness that learning doesn't only occur during lectures but also extends beyond the end of the course.
Best teacher 2013Associate Professor Hans Mattsson has exemplarily demonstrated that research is not a hindrance to teaching fundamental knowledge. Hans Mattsson is a highly regarded educator who seamlessly integrates humor into his lectures and is open to enhancing his courses with new technology. Thanks to his involvement in the Geosektion and an 'open door policy,' he makes all students feel welcome. This contact with students outside the classroom is something that we in Teknologkåren believe deserves special recognition, as it demonstrates a willingness to get closer to all students. Hans Mattsson's innovative thinking, pedagogical skill, and commitment make him a complete teacher, praised by both students and Teknologkåren.

Incredible dedication and fantastic pedagogy! He makes us students interested in the subject of mathematics in a way that no other teacher has succeeded in doing so far. An indication of this is his overflowing lecture halls with students who don't have him on their schedule but choose to attend anyway. He has a pedagogical ability that makes it easy to understand and follow the lessons while having fun at the same time. Therefore, I believe that Stefan is a worthy candidate for Teacher of the Year!
